Priya & Rick | Baltimore MD Rooftop Proposal
Have we mentioned lately how much our job is great? NO?
Our job is so greeeaaat. & oh so happy.
Rick contacted us about needing a photographer because he was going to propose to his girlfriend of SEVEN years. That sure is a long time!
We chatted back & forth & decided to meet up at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore, MD, (where he had been set to ask her) to go further in depth about the details. We were met by the hotel coordinator who would help with the process so that Priya would be completely surprised & never see it coming! We walked through how it was going to happen & we were all set for the real thing just 24 hours later.
It was an overcast, windy day in Baltimore, MD & the rooftop was perfectly laid out with votive candles. The trees that surrounded the little deck where Rick stood & wanted to pop the question was made perfect by the Baltimore building backdrop. If you turn your head you could see the water & boats floating by.
Rick & Priya were going out to dinner at the hotel's restaurant where Rick had made reservations. While they were waiting for their table to be ready, Rick "had to go to the bathroom" WINK WINK. He was actually going upstairs to change & then head to the rooftop where we were already waiting. Once Rick was in position, I was to text the coordinator that we were all set & ready for Priya!
Meanwhile, the coordinator, who was posing as the restaurant's hostess was apologizing for the long wait. She got my text, & told Priya that there was a rooftop bar where she could get complimentary drinks since it was taking so long. Priya went along with it & soon enough, we saw her rounding the corner on the rooftop.
The rest of the story, as you can see, is just the absolute sweetest. Full of hugs, laughs, kisses, & the cutest "yes".
The hotel staff did end bringing complimentary champagne (that wasn't a lie, haha!), we took a few couple portraits, & both of their families showed up.
ALL IN ALL a happy a sweet evening.
